Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Services in the home network environment may conflict over the use of resources, such as electric and electronic equipment and control of the physical environment inside the house. Such conflicts may lead to the suspension of the execution of a service until the conflict is resolved. In this research we propose a system that is able to resolve conflicts of services in specific cases (such as conflicts regarding properties of the physical space), with the use of compromising techniques and the notion of "Area of Effect". We proceed to explain the various aspects of the proposed system (such as "enchantments" and compromising techniques) and present a scenario for the illumination of a room demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed system.
