Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have demonstrated a multiwavelength picosecond pulses generation utilizing adiabatic soliton compression in Raman amplifier and its application in OTDM demultiplexing. 40-GHz time- and wavelength-interleaved pulses are compressed to smaller than 3-ps before all channel OTDM demultiplexing. Bit-error-rate (BER) measurement shows error-free operation of our demultiplexing scheme with less than 1.5 dB and 0.2 dB sensitivity variation among demultiplexed channels.
