Abstract(in English) Enlargement of the core area of fibers is desired in fiber laser applications and has a trade-off with single-mode propagation, namely beam quality. In this paper, a novel technique to suppress the higher-order mode in a bent large-mode-area triple-cladding fiber is proposed. 3-dB suppression of LP_<02> mode is observed on a fabricated triple-cladding fiber with 130-mm diameter bend experimentally.
