Abstract(in English) With the development of IP network infrastructure, telecommunication network is now responsible as a broadcasting infrastructure of IP network based retransmission of broadcasting service, in addition to the conventional telecommunication services such as IP telephony. With the rise of these new services, investigation into new network quality standards with support on both broadcasting services and telecommunication services is vital. Quality standards in the operation of IP telephony services usually referrs to standardized recommendations, laws, ordinances for conventional telephony and IP telephony. On the other hand, there are few references for broadcasting services over IP network compared to the telephony services. The objective values for management are also not obvious in this situation. In this paper, quality and reliability standards from telephony services and broadcasting services are investigated, and similarity and difference between these services are discussed.
