Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a fast FDTD (Finite-Difference Time-Domain) analysis method using simultaneous excitation for multi-antenna systems. In this method, OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) and CI (Carrier Interferometry) pulse generation scheme is employed for maintaining the orthogonality among excited signals. The characteristics of the neighboring antennas can be calculated by assigning different OFDM subcarriers exclusively. The CI enables the simultaneous verification of the antennas distant enough since this method can provide the orthogonality among the pulses in the time domain by controlling the period of the pulse. By combining these two methods, the simultaneous analyses of the array antenna with both close and distant element spacing can be achieved. The simulation of 2×2 multi-antenna shows that the results of the proposed method agree well with that of the conventional method even with the computation time less than 1/4 of the conventional method.
