Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is desirable that array calibration for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation technique can be done in actual operation environment. However, in the actual environment, multipath wave often exist. In such a multipath environment, even when we employ reference antenna of known DOA to make a reference wave, the wave depends on not only the DOA but also complex amplitude of each elementary wave. Therefore the calibration is difficult even when the DOAs of elementary wave in the multipath reference wave are known. We have proposed a new calibration technique which does not depend on the complex amplitude of the multipath waves. In this report, we will provide quantitative analysis of calibration accuracy of the technique by computer simulations. Simulation results of conventional technique with estimated multipath reference signal are also provided to show superiority and robustness of the proposed technique.
