Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the advent of IP retransmission service of digital terrestrial broadcasting, High efficiency and high quality, reliable IP multicast technology is becoming increasingly important. To improve the efficiency of IP multicast capacity, we proposed a load balancing method per (S,G) IP multicast flow between the multiple access edge (IGMPv3/ MLDv2 routers). In this paper, in terms of improving fault tolerance, we have the goal of fast service restoration from a router failure, and present an IP multicast delivery fault detection method in the access network.
