Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the development of recent IP network technologies, IP network bandwidth is broadened. It is reported that most Internet traffic is Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) communication, a network has many TCP flows, and those flows are affected each other. The throughput of TCP can be easily affected by other traffic due to the autonomously controlled sending rate mechanism of TCP window size control. There is a proposed method to estimates TCP throughput, but the estimation is assumed that there is no congestion. It is not suitable for an estimation of TCP throughput under multiple TCP flows environment. In This paper, we propose a simple modeling of congestion window, and an estimation method about TCP throughput and packet loss ratio under multiple TCP flows environment. The efficiency is evaluated by simulations.
