Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A topology construction method for achieving scalability of peer-to-peer streaming is studied. Video streaming services using P2P (peer-to-peer) technologies attract much attention in recent years. In P2P streaming systems, each peer acts a sender of the video streams provided by the origin streaming servers (OSSs) as well as a receiver. Actually, in such systems, minimizing the hop count between an OSS and a peer with large bandwidth improves the scalability of the whole system. In this paper, we propose a topology construction method that improves the scalability of the network. We further observe the characteristics of our proposed method via some simulation experiments.
