Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We implement and experimentally evaluate signaling on optical packet links and automatic resource-adjustment for optical packet and circuit integrated network. We can unify the control interfaces for both packet- and circuit-switching by multiplexing optical packet data and path control messages on the same optical packet links. Moreover, our control system can dynamically and automatically adjust the resources between packet and path depending on the demand for lightpaths. We show experimental results that our control system can achieve lightpath establishment and automatic resource-adjustment within approximately 500ms and 830ms, respectively, at the best possible case in our experimental setup.
