| 抄録(和) | 本研究では,骨粗鬆症患者のスクリーニングのために,歯科パノラマX線画像上において皮質骨厚みを一定範囲で連続的に測定する手法を提案する.この方法は,一定範囲で連続的に測定して統計量を求めることができるため,1点での厚みを測定する従来の方法よりも,ノイズやエラーに強い測定が可能である.本研究では,腰椎および大腿骨頸部の骨密度データが付随する100例の歯科パノラマX線画像を用い,オトガイ孔下部周辺の皮質骨厚測定を行った.この際,モルフォロジカルな方法による画像強調・2値化と,動的計画法を用いた追跡による皮質骨境界の推定を行った.さらに,一定範囲の皮質骨厚みの測定値群に対して,ヒストグラムをクラスタリングする手法で,皮質骨厚みのロバストな推定値を求めた.実験により,本手法が従来法よりも高い診断能力をもつことを示した. |
| 抄録(英) | This study aims to perform continuous measurements of the width of the cortical bone on dental panoramic radiographs for the identification of osteoporotic patients. This continuous measurement provides more accurate cortical width than the conventional one-point method. The mandibular cortical width below the mental foramen is measured by determining cortical boundaries and evaluating the distance between boundaries continuously. The estimate of the width is then obtained by extracting the most significant portion of the histogram of the measurements using the clustering algorithm. It is experimentally shown that the improved sensitivity and specificity provided more stable and significant diagnostic efficacy than the conventional one-point method. |
