Abstract(in English) | We have analyzed the dynamical properties of a Duffing oscillator forced by a relaxation oscillator in terms of a couple of time constants that represent the alternating sequence of absorption and emission of energy. Limit cycle oscillations and chaotic oscillations are generated in accordance with by specific combinations of the time constants. The dynamics underlying these phenomena are discussed from the viewpoint of the power spectra of the relaxation oscillation and the Duffing oscillation. |
