Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the spread of early education through hearing instruments has helped more hearing disabled children enter local schools. Consequently, the rate of advancing to local higher education institutions is expected to increase, calling for urgent establishment of appropriate student support. However, education methods in general higher education institutions have not been sufficiently discussed, especially overlooking hearing disabilities. In this report, hearing disabled students in higher education institutions were requested to self-disclose their difficulties, and the results were inductively analyzed and then structured for discussion. Furthermore, the speech data revealed the actual situations of hearing disabled students in higher education institutions.
