Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is possible that a QoS-TCP flow disorderly becomes a priority flow without the permission of the network administrator over WLAN. We call such flows greedy flows. So far, a method of restraining such greedy TCP flows by using ROC (Received Opportunity Control in MAC Frame) as QoS-MAC is proposed. However, since ROC generates overhead traffic, available bandwidth decreases by using ROC. In addition, the control time of the method for restraining greedy flows by using ROC is same as the time when the greedy flows exist. This paper evaluates the control time and the control pattern of restraining greedy flows by using ROC in order to use bandwidth effectively.
