Abstract(in English) The authors have proposed a distributed storage video on demand (VOD) system that delivers video contents created by consumers in individual storages. In the system, an IP network of superior quality (managed IP network) represented by the next generation network (NGN) will be applied to a network between the video server and individual storages in order to guarantee the quality of service. To constitute the system, it is important how the system manages the presence of the storages and meta-information of video contents in them. In this report, we describe a method using IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) and service delivery platform (SDP) to manage information such as the presence of the storages and meta-information of contents.
