Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN), ad-hoc networks, and sensor networks are becoming very attarctive. Such wireless networks require the flexibiligy for transmission power control and the robust over Multiple Access Interference (MAI). Furthermore, they require the lower energy consumption, the simple system structure, to reduce the amount of MAI, and the high throughput performance. In wireless networks, the increase of collisions causes the throughput degradation, the increase of energy consumption and delay degradation. Code shift keying (CSK) is able to reduce the collision probability. Thus CSK is expected to reduce the energy consumption without degrading the throughput and delay. This paper analyzes the energy consumption reduction effect of CSK randaom access system.
