Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Quantifying features of one's lifestyle is an important task in all forms of human-related services, including medicine and marketing. Accurate, long-term logs of our Activities of Daily Life (ADL) are becoming easier to build, owing to advances in sensor and memory technologies, as well as extended analysis of common activities like sleeping and gait. Little research however has gone into defining a quantitative framework upon which we can base analysis of long-term trends in our life, i.e. "life pattern". This study presents a pre-consideration into accomplishing this task by proposing the idea of "typical days", a categorization of the way one spends a day in their life. By utilizing long-term data acquired through our wristband sensors "Life Microscope", we aim to display the ability of the "typical days" framework in expressing a macro-level representation of human lifestyle.
