Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In current management of the Internet, network virtualization technology has become important. Communication channels are assigned according to applications with building topology of logical network over topology of physical network. However, conventional network virtualization is often specific to virtualization of edge network or virtualization for a leased line, challenges to construct comprehensive virtual network including menagement of core network and IP routing feature has not been made. Therefore, we have challenged to design, build and operate a comprehensive virtualized network in Interop Tokyo 2010. We also made several challenges on methods to reduce administrative costs for construction and operation of the virtualized network. This presentation introduces a case study about the virtualization of core network in detail. |
