Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In November 2009, the LHC accelerator, which is operated by European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) located near Geneva, Switzerland, succeeded in colliding beams for the first time, and the ATLAS experiment, one of the experiments conducted at the LHC, has started data taking seriously. Data taken with the experimental apparatus are distributed to the computer resources world-wide which are combined with the Grid technology, and are analyzed in its distributed computing environment. International Center for Elementary Particle Physics, the University of Tokyo is running "Regional Analysis Center" which serves as a Japanese base in the distributed computing for the ATLAS experiment. In this presentation, we describe current status and future prospect of the data transfer between the Regional Center in Tokyo and centers in Europe over the 10 Gbps link of SINET3 to New York.
