Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the indoor area, getting position information by GPS is known to be difficult. Then, it before has been proposed that the indoor position information is derived from RSSI data and a probability theory. Many access points have already developed in Kumamoto University campuses. The campuses have many walking people, and such people are thought to influence RSSI values. As a result, walking people seem to be harmful for position estimation accuracy. However, concerning to the campus WLAN, there are no reports of practical environment in which walking people seem to influence the estimation accuracy. In this report, we report on comparing the position estimation accuracy in a case of walking people and no walking people.
