Abstract(in English) | NerveNet is a prospective future platform to provide services to local residents, where managed mesh network provides functions for packet transmission, sensor networks (SNs) work as nerve cells to sense environment and databases are utilized for information dissemination. By the current usage scenario for SNs, individuals have no controllability on their private data and the risk of information leakage is serious. To preserve privacy for individuals, we investigate a promising and novel scenario, where SNs are network independent, and sensor network users (SNUs) directly interact with sensors to collect sensor data and then transfer data to their selected databases. To enable this scenario extensively usable, it is necessary to design a framework so that SNUs are able to acquire information from sensors managed by different sensor network owners (SNOs). We design secure sensor sharing framework, S3F, to enable secure interactions between SNUs and sensors. By S3F, sensor network service providers (SNSPs) share the sensors owned by different SNOs. They are enabled to search the preferred sensors according to the query from SNUs, and provide the access privilege to flexible group of sensors for SNUs. |
