Mobile Multicast Routing Control Considering Tree-Construction Delays

Abstract(in English) IP multicast is an effective communication technology for delivering a large amount of data to many users at the same time. However, when the IP multicast technology is applied to mobile communications, there exist some difficulties to be solved such as how to dynamically construct the multicast tree and how to maintain the communication services. In this paper, the issues in existing multicast routing methods will be described and a new efficient multicast routing scheme will be proposed. In addition, the quantitative performance evaluations by simulation will be reported to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
