Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the performance comparison of bump/Dent detection on a stereo vision and a monocular camera, and the quantitative evaluation of a bump/dent detection system for an electric wheelchair and a senior car. Firstly, we compare the performance by error of the angle of a stereo camera and a monocular camera, and show the effectiveness of a monocular camera. Secondly, we conduct experiments that move toward a bump/dent at an angle of 90°, 45°, and 0°, and the quantitative evaluation of the system.
