The effect of smile visualization to participants in face to face communication

Abstract(in English) Conversation is the most basic communication method. Enjoyable conversation with somebody may be useful for establish relationship with him. In this study, the framework for more enjoyable conversation is aimed, congruent smile is paid attention. In this paper, relationship between congruent smile and impression on conversation is analyzed. For an evaluation experiment, TalkWithSmile which visualize the process of congruent smile in order to attempt to accelerate congruent smile is proposed. Evaluation experiment with TalkWithSmile showed that more congruent smile in conversation may connect to positive impression on its conversation.
