Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Presenting the scents in accordance with audio-visual information would provide deeper sense of reality. However, prior olfactory display could not have precise control over scents. Thus, we aimed at constructing the technique to switch the scent by using the precisely controlled pulse ejection. From measuring the characteristics of human olfactory on various scent switching pulse patterns, we constructed the technique that enables the scent switch. It is expected to provide deeper sense of reality by using this technique.
