Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a cognitive virtualization platform, called AMPHIBIA, which realizes future wireless network services. The platform is designed based on the network virtualization technology and the cognitive radio network technology both of which are integrated with interfaces controlled by a cognitive virtualization operator. Cognitive radio devices are accommodated in different virtual networks which are dynamically generated, reconfigured, and removed where the platform enables synchronized reconfigurations of cognitive radio devices and virtual networks. Various applications over the proposed platform, such as end-to-end QoS guaranteed wireless networking and ecological network operations with power-saving control, over both wired and wireless networks are expected to realize future wireless network services.
