Abstract(in English) NETCOMSEC Co. Ltd. developed a Short Warm Up Ku-band 250W TWT (Traveling Wave Tube) as an amplifier which is used for satellite communications and broadcasting in earth stations. These TWT applications, when the news flash of an urgent report etc., require fast turn on of the TWT. This development achieves the requirement, and "Short Warm Up" is completed at 80 seconds. This TWT gets a lightweight compared with the conventional TWT. The cathode life is 10 years more by adoption of the satellite TWT technology.
