Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In most conventional magnetron studies, a magnetron was discussed on the two-dimensional plane which is perpendicular to the external magnetic field. In the present study, we focus on the structural difference in the axial direction between the center region and the end regions of the magnetron, and we discuss electron motion and noise generation in these regions. In particular, we describe wideband noise generation at the startup attributed to the electron motion on the two-dimensional plane, by extending the discussion from the center region to the end regions. Also, we describe a possibility of noise generation mechanism caused by electron motion along the axial direction, by applying a Penning trap structure.
