Multiband and Tunable Amplifier for 0.4-6GHz Software Defined Radio and Cognitive Radio Transceivers

Abstract(in English) A multiband and tunable amplifier that supports 0.4-6GHz band has been developed. To obtain more than 30dB process gain over 0.4-6GHz band, the amplifier took a three-stage balance-typed structure. Base on the architecture and by taking 90nm RF-CMOS process, a prototype of amplifier was developed. As measurement results, more than 30dB process gain, less than 10dB NF and maximum transmission power larger than 20dBm were realized over 0.4-6GHz band by using the amplifier.
