Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are many IR remote controllers for operating electrical appliances at home. If the equipment operation can be realized by simple body motion, it increases the convenience in daily life in the house. This paper proposes the architecture for the equipment operation by motion recognition using a wearable acceleration sensor. The demonstration system has been composed and experiments fbr operating appliances such as a TV and a light, etc. were carried out for evaluation. It is confirmed that the success rate is from 93 to 100% and the proposed architecture is effective for operating ambient equipment.
