Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the 3rd generation cellular phone systems and wireless LAN devices have now become widespread in the marketplace, wireless technologies have come to be applied to various fields of the society. Meanwhile, the necessity of the environmental impact reduction has now strongly been requested, thus, such wireless networks allowing efficient usage of energy have been expected. Furthermore, in order to reduce power consumption in server and storage systems, cloud computing technologies have been recognized by efficiently utilizing those IT resources. The paper overlooks a framework which the best uses ample IT resources via the next generation wireless networks such as LTE / LTE-Advanced, and also introduces new services provided by the said framework. In addition, it outlines the role of the next generation wireless systems as well as their problems with possible and practical countermeasures against those.
