Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new signature system of multivariate public key cryptosystem (MPKC), which uses separate check equations in order to prevent forgery, is proposed. One of major shortcomings of MPKC signatures is that the signature of a given message is not decided uniquely, which can be exploited by attackers to forge signatures. Now we proposed to use 'check equation,' which is satisfied by only the legitimate signers who really knows its secret key (not the computed equivalent secret key). We applied the system to the Enhanced STS signature system, which we proposed previously.
