Image Authentication with Access Control Based on Reversible Data Hiding

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an image authentication with access control based on reversible data hiding. The proposed method generates hash from not only an image but also keys, and the method reversibly hides it to the image. By utilizing this hash, this method allows us to efficiently separate the authority to detect tamper from that to localize tampered areas. That is, the proposed method controls access to its tamper detection functionalities as well as it detects tamper and localizes tampered areas. Furthermore, the proposed method requires only hash processing for secure authentication, whereas the conventional methods require a cipher processing as well as hash processing.
