A Tabletop Interface for Manipulating 3D Human Model

Abstract(in English) In CG production, a flat panel display is generally used, and 3D model is manipulated by flat input devices such as a mouse. However, it is not intuitive to manipulate a 3D model by single pointing on a flat surface. In this study, we propose a manipulation interface which users can pose a 3D human model on a flat surface by using a multi-touch tabletop. We define multi touch gestures to manipulate the 3D human model spatially by surface input. We also evaluate the proposed interface by posing the 3D human model by using it.
