| Abstract(in English) | Genetic coding system and human vocal language have a lot of common characteristics. (1) The use of digital signals, 4 member RNA/DNA nucleotides and about 100 syllables in Japanese. (2) Digital/Analog coding mechanism translating codon sequences into proteins as well as words into meanings. (3) Two-stage source encoding system: RNA makes codons, and then long sequence of m-RNA is composed after post-transcriptional modulation by non-coding RNA, while syllables make words, then syntactic coding of conceptual words with grammatical modulation, (4) Significantly reduced error probability by digital transmission and analog reception at both ends on the channel, enabling autonomous and unidirectional data flow, named as Central Dogma by F. Crick in genetic system [1] and it is still overlooked in language system, and (5) autonomous 3-D folding of proteins in cytoplasm and mechanism of meanings in one's long-term memories. This indicates that human beings are natural creatures who introduced genetic coding system into their vocal communication. |
