Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a simple operational SAS sensor using an optical fiber sheet, an optical power meter with Si-Photodiode, LED (650nm) built-in a controller, a microcomputer, a memory card, and a small liquid crystal display panel. The data recorded were automatically analyzed by using a newly developed data analysis program to normal respiration areas, apnea areas, hypopnea areas, and signals of rolling over in bed. This developed simple operational SAS sensor can as well detect apnea during usual sleeping at home as with PSG. It seems useful for screening of potential patients in home as an non-invasive measurement system.
