Abstract(in English) We developed directly modulated DFB lasers that are suitable for flip chip mounting and differential-signal operation. Both wire bonded and flip-chip bonded DFB lasers demonstrated the error-free transmission over a 10-km single-mode fiber under 25.78-Gbit/s non-return to zero pseudo-random bit stream signal operation.
