Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We show how a synthetic gene network can operate, in an adequate range of noise, as a logic gate. Interestingly, noise enhances the reliability of the logic function. In this paper, we consider a two-dimensional model of a genetic toggle switch, where we show how two complementary gate operations can be achieved in simultaneously. This result indicates the parallel processing ability of this biological system.
