Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the design chart based on the measnred resnlts of a thin wave absorber consisting of periodic metal films and dielectric loss material is investigated. The wave absorber with a given thickness is fabricated and measnred. An influence of the periodic metal films is considered. According to these results, chart of the wave absorber is illustrated as parameters of the dimensions and gap of the metal films and the thickness of the dielectric loss material. The dielectric loss material changing a complex relative permittivity is fabricated to obtain the good absorption at the usable frequency of ETC as an example. The absorption characteristic of the wave absorber using the new dielectric loss material is investigated.
