Analytic Study on Electromagnetic Shielding Characteristics of Reinforced Concrete Wall

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we focnsed attention on the reinforced concrete wall used by many people as a general building component and investigated the electromagnetic shielding characteristics. Firstly, the constitutive model of an actual reinforced concrete wall was analytically examined with an electromagnetic field simulator. Next, the shielding characteristics were investigated when the thickness of surface concrete and lattice spacing, the reinforcing rod interval, thickness of concrete were changed as parameters. In addition, we made a design chart of the shielding characteristics when each parameters were changed, and compared some cases with a different concrete complex permittivity. Finally, the shielding characteristics of the reinforced concrete wall were actually measured and compared the analyzed to measured results for confirming the analyzed results.
