Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The demand to speed-up network communication is increasing. TCP/IP is the standard protocol on the Internet. However, TCP's congestion control is not designed to obtain high throughput on the next generation networks such as 40/100 GbE. We propose TCP congestion control based on the history of packet losses to speed-up TCP communication on large bandwidth-delay networks. We performed performance evaluation of our method. We found our method speed-up the speed of prolonged TCP communication on large bandwidth delay networks by 7% compared to CUBIC.
