Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Speeding up LSI, the radiated noise from the power supply layers when a high-speed switching operates increases and it becomes a problem. In the present study, we examined the method of decreasing the radiated noise by controlling the generation of noise standing wave in the power supply layers. The generation of standing wave can be suppressed by reducing the reflection on the substrate edge ofnoise generated when the switching operates. The radiation noise can be decreased by suppressing the standing wave. Then, we proposed the method of adding resistors to the substrate edge. This time, the decrease effect improvement when the edge part of the voltage plane is assumed to be a triangular geometly is confirmed, and it reports on the result of examining the best shape.
