Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Service Computing framework aims at easy and quick creation of novel communication applications by coordinating components or services provided through networks. Considering that major providers such as Google, Amazon, or Yahoo, are currently enhancing SaaS or Cloud services for free or at a low price, application mash-up using such capabilities is very promising. Created components or services will also be used as materials for more enhanced mashed-up applications, thus getting positive-feedback. In this paper, we propose novel telecom-web coordinated applications and basic technologies for supporting Service Computing. Through implementing a VoIP service component based on SIP Servlet and a mashed-up application based on the Language Grid, applicability and effectiveness of Service Computing are discussed as well as problems inherent to it.
