Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we present two types of semantic retrieval systems using conceptual graphs. One is an application of semantic web framework and the other is an original framework on relational database. Our systems process natural language texts as Concept Description Language and extend queries with Universal Word thesaurus. In our experiments we evaluate two aspects of our systems: query extension and use of conceptual relations. The results showed that our methods improved the retrieval performance.
