Operations of Single Flux Quantum Circuits Based on 40-kA/cm^2 Process

Abstract(in English) We have designed, fabricated and measured Single-Flux-Quantum circuits using ISTEC Nb 40kA/cm^2 process. Toggle-flip-flop(TFF) circuit and 8 bit shift register circuit were adopted as test circuits. The circuits were designed using a cell-based design method. We confirmed by average voltage method the TFF that circuit operated up to 425 GHz. We also confirmed that the 8 bit shift register circuit operated at high frequencies although the operating frequency of the circuit was not estimated.
