Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The user's operation history of home appliances includes his/her own intention in the operations and plays an important role as his/her life-log which can be utilized to know his/her preferences and/or behavior patterns. We developed an appliance operation logging system with command relay devices, "Remote Control Signal Proxy" that convert the content operated by the Wi-Fi remote control into the infrared signal. This paper describes the system architecture, data format for several types of infrared signal, and appliance state inference method for extracting user intention, as well as analyzes problems with operation logging.
