Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Agricultural production is highly dependent on weather such as temperature, precipitation, amount of sunlight, and so on. Therefore, Agricultural producers might want to get and utilize environmental information. Accordingly, Field Server was proposed by Hirafuji(National Agricultural Research Center), et al. Field Server which can collect and accumulate environmental information at a low price was expected to spread widely but it is unfamiliar in terms of costs and power. Therefore, We take notice of low power consumption sensor network module which is execute processing and communicate via radio. In addition to create and operate a sensor network in Iwate Agricultural Research Center, We interviewed researchers in the field of agriculture. This sensor network enabled us to obtain necessary information such as temperature and soil moisture without going to fields. Moreover, We found problems to be solved in order to spread sensor network across the agriculture.
