| 抄録(和) | 失語症者の意思伝達を補助する道具の一つとして,「会話補助ノート(コミュニケーションノート)」がある。会話補助ノートは,日常よく使う単語やイラストをカテゴリ別に掲載したものであり,伝えたい項目を指差すことで,相互のコミュニケーションを可能とする。しかし,失語症者の症状や生活習慣によって,掲載する内容が異なる。そのため,周囲の支援者がそれぞれに合わせたものを作成する必要がある。そこで,我々は,支援者が簡単に編集し,提示できる会話補助ノートをiPod touch向けアプリケーションとして開発を試みた。また,このアプリケーションを用いて調査した結果から,改良すべき点・追加すべき機能が明らかとなった。 |
| 抄録(英) | A "communication notebook" is a tool to help an aphasiac communicate with others. The notebook lists common words of daily use and corresponding illustrations according to their categories. An aphasic can point to a word or an illustration he/she wants in order to communicate. However, one problem associated with this tool is that such a notebook needs to contain different items for each and every aphasic, whose symptoms and lifestyle are unique. Therefore, aphasia support groups need to prepare a different notebook for each and every patient. In light of this problem, we have attempted to develop a new type of a communication notebook in the form of an iPod touch application. Support groups can easily edit the contents of this notebook and demonstrate it to an aphasiac. In addition, we have conducted a survey using this new application and identified scope for improvements and new functions. |
