Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The study of information propagation in social networks is aimed at understanding and promoting communications in groups, organizations and communities. One challenge is to develop tools for analyzing and predicting how communication activity and information propagation depend on the content of the information. In this paper, we analyze email communications within a large company to reveal how email activity patterns depend on content. We characterize email contents using keywords and examine statistics of email transmissions. We show that it is possible to identify classes of keywords with distinctly different propagation characteristics.
