Sympathetic Body Awareness : Co-creating Body

Abstract(in English) Since 1988, the author has been involved in the field of education or therapy to work with a wide range of people including physically or mentally challenged through creative bodily expression. When creative bodily expression is in practice, each one's bodily movement gets synchronized with the others' and he/she feels connected. The difference between each one's body shape or the time lag occurred between each one's bodily movement creates various new expressions which cannot be developed by a single individual. Is it possible to comprehend what one's body actually senses during this kind of activity by applying methods of any sorts? In connection with his field work and research on bodily communication and expression, the author introduces her current challenges as well as her vision for the future.
